Latin Name : Rhamnus Purshiana

Origin Country: USA

Cascara tea is made from the husks of coffee beans, which are dried in the sun. The drink can not be described as coffee, because it is not made from coffee beans and also does not taste like coffee. But neither can it be considered tea, because it does not come from tea leaves and contains caffeine, but only ¼ of the corresponding amount of coffee. It has a slightly sweet taste with notes of fruit, is made just like tea and is served hot or cold and can also be found in the form of syrup.
